Fact vs. Myth
Myth: Loss of balance and dizziness are facts of life as we grow older.
Fact: Loss of flexibility, strength and stability are largely due to inactivity.
Myth: Falls are inevitable. Nothing can be done to help.
Fact: Proper evaluation can detect specific balance problems, and focused exercise can improve stability and decrease dizziness.
